I enjoyed Burning Love by Trish Morey, book four in The Hot Aussie Knights series. Caleb Knight is a fire fighter in Adelaide, Australia, part of the fire-fighting royalty, following in his grandfather’s footsteps. After an unhappy marriage and divorce, Caleb swore off love and marriage finding what he needs in Ava Mattiske’s scorching bed. After a year, Caleb finds he cares more for her and wants more permanent relationship. Ava is a talented artist whose ability to trust was destroyed long ago. She decides it’s time to end the friendship as she could not do long-term. Ava has secrets in her past that she doesn’t want Caleb, or anyone, to know about. Yet, those secrets have trapped her into having a loveless and unhappy life. It takes a bushfire threatening her home and studio and Caleb presence to help on order for Ava to realize how she has allowed her past to rule her future. This was an enjoyable book. Caleb was easy to like, but I struggled with Ava until she shared her secret. She was much easier to understand then. Ms. Morey is a great story teller and I had trouble putting this book down, reading it in one day. I definitely recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Burning Love (Hot Aussie Knights Book 4) by Trish Morey This is Artist Ava Mattiske and Caleb Knight’s story. A year ago Caleb and Ava agreed to a secret fling without any expectations. At the time Caleb and Ava were not looking for a commitment but now Caleb has changed his mind. Will he be able to convince Ava to give them a chance at lasting love? Also, Ava is very secretive about her past. Will she reveal her secrets or will these secrets keep them from find true love? I really liked Caleb and Ava's characters. They had chemistry that was red-hot but is it enough for a lasting relationship? A very enjoyable and sexy story with lots of secrets and a few twists. FYI, contains mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Caleb lives on the wrong side of danger. His job as a firefighter is a thrilling one, but one wrong move could be a fatal one. So it's interesting that he would chose to get involved with a woman with enough edges to put his heart at risk. Ava is an artist that escapes her pain and trust issues by creating. She transfers all her emotions onto canvas as a coping mechanism. When the wounded warrior princess meets the dangerously appealing adrenaline junkie sparks fly, lines are crossed and the healing starts. Ms. Morey is not afraid to go into some of the darkest places to enlighten and inspire readers. Burning Love is the product of a compassion person and a talented author.
