The Bronte sisters lives and works have become modern-day cultural touchstones.
Emily Bronte, best known for her novel WUTHERING HEIGHTS, began writing poetry first and, before her untimely death, wrote some of the most touching and emotive poems which often reflected the landscape of her Yorkshire home.

Um höfundinn
The Bronte Sisters are best known for writing some of the most enduring and loved novels of all time, as well as many beautifully crafted poems. First published under the pseudonyms Currer, Ellis and Acton Bell, they have since inspired numerous adaptations of their work, and the parsonage in Haworth, Yorkshire, where they lived is now a place of pilgrimage for their many fans from around the world.
