n anul 1995 eram în Germania la Bad Homburg. Participam cu mare entuziasm la un stagiu de Karate condus de o legendă vie la acea vreme, maestrul Taiji Kase. Am văzut pe viu cum sensei a creat cu mâinile și printr-o respirație ciudată o bilă chi, cu care a „lovit” de la o distanță un elev, un zdrahon cu centură neagră. „Victima” a reacționat ca după o lovitură directă. După o oră ne-a arătat tuturor o vânătaie de toată frumusețea.
În pofida strădaniilor mele marțiale nu am reușit (încă) să fac o asemenea bilă energetică însă, iată, am învățat să produc bile terapeutice. Tot ce știu, toată experiența mea v-o ofer în această carte.
