Since 2008, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has invited readers to share their cookie creativity through our annual Holiday Cookie Contest. Food Editor Nancy Stohs and her team of tasters have sampled hundreds of cookies, selecting the best to publish each December in our award-winning Food section. Nearly three dozen of those cookies – winners and runners-up from the contest’s first five years – are compiled in Best Holiday Cookies, along with a baker’s dozen of food team favorites.
