Struggled with interest in the first half of book. Lacked the pace of the earlier books. 2nd half picks up a much better speed of action. Worth reading and I'm looking forward to the next book, but i don't think I'll reread this one. Still interesting characters and plot development is coming a long nicely.

About the author
Benedict Jacka became a writer almost by accident, when at 19 he sat in his school library and began writing in the back of an exercise book. Since then he has worked for the civil service, studied philosophy at Cambridge and been a bouncer, but has always found the time to keep writing.
