About this eBook

World champion bull rider Braden "Bear" Anderson is a Montana legend in and out of the arena, but when a horrifying accident in Tulsa leaves him fighting for his life, many fear for Bear’s future. Determined to live independently, Bear returns home to his luxury log cabin in Montana, but the cabin is full of painful memories, leaving him struggling in more ways than one.

Josie Calhoun is no stranger to challenge. A passionate advocate for universal design, having grown up with a younger brother with special needs, she’s determined to ensure that Bear’s cabin is everything he wants. However, she's drawn to Bear in ways that are far from professional. Rugged, smart, and tough, Bear does crazy things to her heart. Yet, Bear is determined to keep things platonic with Josie. He’s a different man now than before the accident and refuses to be a burden on anyone, much less Josie, with all her fire and passion.

Josie needs Bear as much as he needs her, but when Josie’s family intervenes, can Bear let the best part of his life go without a fight?

Bear's Heart, the second book in The Calhouns & Campbells of Cold Canyon Ranch series. The author Jane Porter has written such a powerful, fantastic book. All I thought at the end was "Wow". A possible romance. The main male character is in a wheelchair from an accident which changed his life. The dialogue and character development is perfect for the storyline. I've always enjoyed past books I've read by the author and Bear's Heart hasn't disappointed me. A top read for sure.

An absolutely touching story of a hope filled optimistic young woman and a grizzly paraplegic man who find something in each other beyond anything they could imagine. It is not an easy relationship. It has a considerable amount of rough terrain. Each of them want the best for the other and their ideas do not always mesh. Reading how their relationship developed was a powerful statement of how love conquers all. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I highly recommend the story of Josie and Bear! The connection between them was obvious from the start. From their first meeting Josie wants to do whatever she can to make Bear's life better but all he wants is to put all of his resources toward starting a business to help others. Their selflessness makes for a wonderful book that I could not put down. I also enjoyed the update on some of the characters from book one in the series. As always you can't go wrong with a Jane Porter book!
