Balubhai Chhodwadia, a retired journalist and now a freelancer, is a devout follower of Lord Swaminarayan. Hailing from a satsangi family Balubhai Chhodwadia ( popularly known as Balubhai Patrakar) got his school education at Vadtal and then headed for a job at Surat. Religious sanskars received while staying at Vadtal helped him to live a life as dictated by Lord Swaminarayan in Shikshapatri . He penned around 15 books on Hindu religion in Gujarati. After retirement , Balubhai Patrakar reconnected himself with Vadtal temple complex and teerth and recounted his memories in his first book on Swaminarayan Sampradaya- Punyabhoomi Vadtal. The book depicts many minor information and incidents about the Vadtal teerth in a very lucid language. He respects all the six features of the Sampradaya and that has won love and affection from all. As he is a disciple of Parshadvarya Hira Bhagatji , he has got special affection from Pujya Nautam Swami. His book Punyabhoomi Vadtal is wel-comed by all including Pujya Dev Swami, the Chairman of the temple , Dr. Santvallabhdasj Swami, the Assistant Kothari and all leading sants. Balubhai is lucky as H. H. Acharya Maharajshri of Vadtal diocese has kindly consented to perform the launching ceremony of the book on the pious ceremony of Guru purnima Mahotsav at Vadtal on 9 July, 2017. The Sampradaya wishes him God's Speed !
