Both these books explicitly have sex scenes in which the heroine is forced to have sex against her will multiple times. The author is under the immensely flawed impression that if you are aroused, it must be consensual. NOPE. However, if rape/non-consent erotica is the niche in which you wish to write, then you are morally obligated to describe the content so that a reader may make an educated/consensual decision to read these scenes. Besides that, writing is merely mediocre.

I loved every single moment of it. At first I was under the impression that it would get boring along the way, having been expressed only from Nora's Pov. It wasn't the case though. I pretty much enjoyed how she relayed the events taking place and her indecisiveness over feelings for Julian. I can wait the second one as I follow their journey.

I just finished the story of Nora and Julian....I am shocked how much I came to really like Nora. Especially twisted but compelling Julian. Wonderful writing!! On to the next book!😃😙 Close Liaisons was wonderful fantasy, with a character who was sexy, s trong, but not cruel. Great read. Can't wait to purchase book two of each of those above. Love your way with words.
