Could use a serious sub-edit - the range of contextual errors and typos really distract the reader. The premise of the story could be good, but weirdly, the descriptions of character's thoughts make them seem overly emotional ... gushing and smirking all over the place.

the first 2/3 of the book was so slow and repetitive. I almost gave up on it. but it did get better, so 3 stars.
