關於本電子書

This book features the recent technological advances made in the broad domain of aerospace engineering. Aerospace engineering covers a wide range of areas on which research is being done, including subsonic aerodynamics, high speed aerodynamics, unsteady aerodynamics, wind tunnel testing, computational fluid dynamics, and more.

The authors also review recent technological advancements done in aerospace engineering and provide information about all the important domains and problems of interest in the field. The various important problem areas covered within the book include satellites, supersonic/hypersonic inlets, advanced composite structures, spiked bodies, delta wings, green propellant, satellite designing, satellite trajectory control, industry 4.0 in aerospace etc. In addition, the advancements done in the areas of introducing artificial intelligence in to the aerospace domain is also covered.

關於作者

Dr. Devabrata Sahoo, currently working as an Associate Professor, Department of Aerospace Engineering, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, India. He has completed his Ph.D. from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, ISRAEL. His research expertise is in experimental aerodynamics in supersonic speed and he has been actively involved in performing research in this area for the last 14 years. He is familiar with conducting experiments which include high-speed flow visualization (Schlieren/shadowgraph and oil flow), time-averaged and unsteady pressure measurements, and force measurements. Along with experiments, he has also performed computations throughout these years and is familiar with the computational tool Ansys/Fluent. He has more than 50 publications of international repute in the field of aerodynamics. He has worked on various research projects related to high-speed aerodynamics funded by the Govt. of India and was involved in designing and setting up a supersonic wind tunnel in the Department of Space Engineering & Rocketry, B.I.T, Mesra, India. He is also familiar with conducting experiments on subsonic wind tunnels. Along with the wind tunnel testing, he has also been involved in setting up various other lab instruments. His current research interests are high speed aerodynamics, subsonic flows, unsteady aerodynamics, experimental aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics and wind tunnel testing.

Dr. Abhishek Sharma received his Bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from ITM-Gwalior, India, in 2012, and his Master’s degree in robotics engineering from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, India, in 2014. He was a Senior Research Fellow in a DST funded project under the Technology Systems Development Scheme and worked as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation, UPES. He also worked as a research fellow in Ariel University (Israel) and received an Emerging Scientist award in 2021. Currently he is currently working as a research assistant professor scientist in Graphic Era University (India). His research interests include machine learning, optimization theory, swarm intelligence, embedded system, control and robotics.

Dr. Shailendra Rajput received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, India, in 2006 and 2008, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Physics, Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, India in 2014. He has worked as postdoctoral fellow at Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Ariel University, Israel since 2017. His current research interests are energy harvesting, medical applications of millimeter waves, ferroelectricity and piezoelectricity. Currently he is working as an associate professor at Xi’an International University, China.
