About this eBook

Can you resist the depths of the human heart?

It is 1958 and seventeen-year-old Landon is revelling in his youth: dating girls and even claiming to have been in love. He is a world apart from shy, reclusive Jamie Sullivan, a Baptist's daughter who carries a bible with her school books, cares for her widowed father and volunteers at the orphanage. But fate will intervene.

Forced to partner up at the school dance, Landon and Jamie embark on a journey of earth-shattering love and agonising loss far beyond their years. In the months that follow, Landon discovers the true depths of the human heart, and takes a decision that is so stunning it will lead him irrevocably down the road to manhood . . .

Really when i started to read the book i didnt know that it will draw such impression on me. After completing the first 2 chapters i found it hard to put it down. i laughed.......i smiled but in the conclution "A Walk to Remember" made me cry i felt that i cant stop my tears from coming out. Nicholus Sparks had framed the describtions so perfectly that readers find themselves standing beside Jamie and Landon while they are reading it.

Read this book after seeing the film. Wasn't very impressed with it, thought the film was much better. Although the storyline is very good I didn't feel the author did it justice in the way he wrote the story.
