What a wonderfully good book! It was so hard to put down. It keeps you glued to the story as it is packed with action from start to finish. It is so well described that you see it as vivid images in your mind. Gabby is a great heroine, cursed with immortality, but with the gift of second sight. This allows her to see the invisible world of ghosts, demons and auras. The characters are so well defined. Gabby's loss, her fate and her unyielding personality, combined with her undeniable humanity, make her likeable, if not lovable. I loved the Van Helsing brothers with their different personalities. They were a lot of fun to read. Had to chuckle regularly and even laugh out loud. I highly recommend this book! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this this review voluntarily.
