About this eBook

A family has been brutally murdered leaving only their young daughter alive. Two days later another family is also slain, leaving their teenaged son unharmed. While most investigators agree the attacks are random, Detective Nicholas Pearce feels they are connected and deliberately planned. As he searches for the truth, he discovers a sinister and vicious group of killers who will destroy anyone that threatens to expose them.

A page turner. The story line was very creative; a mixture of off the wall psychopathy, luck and good detective work. My only (small) complaint is the use of "giggle" in reference to the female FBI agent. Giggling is what teenage girls do, not brave women with the appetite of a truck driver. I'll read more of his books.

Kept me on edge, loved how well it was written, easy to follow but also a dark story that I didn't expect. Only dislike was that some characters stories weren't really finished
