For Edra, the strengthened bond between them is exhilarating and terrifying, and everything he believed he’d never have again. But Jordan is struggling with defining what is him and what is Edra when he barely knows himself.

When griffins descend on the city, killing several people, and then claim sanctuary from hunters, it’s up to Jordan and the rest of Mytho Investigations to uncover the truth before humans start calling for the griffins’ death.

With the entire country waiting for the outcome of the vote that will determine the standing of mythological people—and define who is a person—everyone is on edge. If it doesn’t pass, Jordan worries what it will mean for him and Edra.
