Daisy McCrae's life is in tatters. Author Mary Ellen Taylor's southern family has always enjoyed tall tales and good yarns. This appreciation motivated Mary Ellen to earn an English degree from Virginia Hollins University. Under the name Mary Burton, she was a RITA Award finalist and a nominee for the Romantic Times Critics Choice Award. Mary Ellen lives in Virginia.

Susan Boyce is the award-winning narrator of over 240 audiobooks. A veteran variety theater performer, she is also one half of the song-and-dance team of Jones & Boyce.
