The Storyteller

In "The Storyteller" by Saki, the narrative unfolds in a railway carriage where a woman travels with her three young charges—two girls and a boy. Bored and restless, the children incessantly question their aunt, whose attempts to entertain them with a conventional moral tale fall flat.
