In 2007, she met Victoria Christopher Murray, who took a personal interest in assisting her with developing and honing her writing craft. From this mentorship, the novel The Diary of a Mad First Lady evolved. She is a motivational speaker and has participated in many women’s conferences and events across the Southeast. She has been married since the age of sixteen to Pastor Myrondous Washington.
