Outside the wind was blowing the wrong way and the world was filled with the smell of death... Something is wrong at Cheshunt. Nathanial feels it the moment he arrives. It is not the model neighbourhood it appears to be - strange things happen, despite the curfew. And soon Nathanial learns that his presence is no accident. 作者简介

Isobelle Carmody began the first of her highly acclaimed Obernewtyn Chronicles while she was still at high school, and worked on it while completing a Bachelor of Arts and then a journalism cadetship. The series, and her short stories, have established her at the forefront of fantasy writing in Australia. She is now the award-winning author of several novels and many short stories for children and adults. Isobelle divides her time between her home in Australia and her travels abroad.

Peter Hardy has performed for theatre, television and film, in bands and on radio. He toured The Tempest in Bali and The French Revolution through Australia. He has performed the one-man play Chasing Rabbits in Melbourne and New York, as well as performing in the hit musical Mamma Mia.
