The first book in the series starts off when Katelyn Moore and her best friend Maggie O'Connor find the gnome Caesleanyx at their local pool in Hawthorne Hollow, Michigan. He opens their eyes to the reality of the world of Fey and the startling truth that they are Faery Keepers, descendants from an ancient race charged with the protection of the Fey from their long time nemesis the Zions, who are trying to eradicate all Faeries from our world and theirs. Now, with the help of their new, maybe, friend and fellow Keeper Derek they must stand together against the threat of the Zions and sometimes even the Faeries who don't trust them quite yet. Will it be enough? Or will they not be able to staunch the threat of oncoming war on the horizon?
