I enjoyed the lessons with the inventors; however, I don't see the relevance of Dr. King. The Dr. King discussion is the very reason we don't learn anything about other great black contributors. The inventors presented produced items which provided improvements for the common good--all peoples, but it seems that--is always over shadowed by Dr. King creating a very one dimensional perspective of black contribution--limited to public protest. Meanwhile--black female scientist took us to the moon!
