About the author

Robert Hamish McCutcheon, known as Sandy McCutcheon, is an Australian author, playwright, actor, journalist and broadcaster. He was born in Christchurch, New Zealand. Since the early 1970s he has lived mainly in Australia. He is well-known as a radio host in Australia and is also the author of more than 20 plays.

Richard Bligh is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts. He has appeared in numerous theatre productions including Lady Windermere's Fan and Julius Caesar for the Melbourne Theatre Co. Richard's television credits include Blue Heelers, MDA, Halifax FP, Police Rescue II and Worst Best Friends. Film credits include Dead Letter Office, The Hidden Hand and Face Value.
