I love this story. But that's not enough when the pronunciation of the reader is so AWFUL as to render this version unlistenable. If you are going to take on an English classic, not least the unabridged version, it might be a good idea if you had a decent grasp of the English language. Definitely do not waste money on this version.

Now this sis what you call a classic, Don't be nervous of reading a 'classic'. I know it was published a long time ago, but that doesn't mean it is difficult to read. Just look back at my quotation about Billy Bones. That is from the first page of the book - and I promise you, it doesn't get any harder. Adventure lovers and fantasy this is it for youThere is one piece of advice I will give, though. I don't think this book is ever out of print - there are hundreds of different copies around. If you can, choose a copy with large enough print to be able to read comfortably, and exciting illustrations.
