Obedience has been an ever present specter looming over Christian Hoyt. Forced out by those who once gave him shelter, Christian steps into a brand new life in more ways than one. His life hasn’t just changed--he has. Abilities of great power and potential flood him with fear and a growing sense of dread for things to come. Suddenly a captive of the military and under the control of Dr. Rodriguez, a sinister man with a plan for Christian, life becomes bleak and treacherous for the young man who wishes harm to none. With Christian under the Doctor’s control, there is no telling what destruction and death will rain down on all those whom Christian meets, befriends, fears, and even loves. For obedience does not rise from complicity--and Christian would rather die than submit to the whims of evil men.

A. R. Stein can usually be seen with her nose in a book, and that book is most likely going to be fantasy. Deep down, she has always known that she would write a novel, but didn't realize she had to use her creative thinking until she stopped using it to focus on her studies in Computer Science. After winning her first NaNoWriMo in 2019 with the rough draft of 'The Experiment', which later came to be Project Obedience, she realized she loved to write more than she originally thought. When she is not reading or writing, she can be found horseback riding, scrolling through social media, and coming up with new ideas for novels almost anywhere. No, seriously, she currently has over 10 novels in progress and gets a new idea at the most random times. She lives in York, PA, and switched from majoring in Computer Science to Applied Mathematics at Harrisburg University. She dreams of one day working for Tesla but also dreams of being a full-time author someday.
