Born on Christmas, Angela Stark has always hated the holiday. Bad things always seem to happen, and this year is no exception—she is fired and evicted on the first day of December. She was living and working as a maid in San Francisco. Who will hire her at this time of year, especially if they learn why she was fired? But then Angela meets the Hodges family and friends and begins to question where home really is.
