About this audiobook

A full-cast production inspired by Pygmalion, Shaw’s classic drawing room tale of language and class division, and its musical incarnation, My Fair Lady

PIGmalion tells the story of one Eliza Doolittle, who sells homemade pork rinds at the Tri-Counties Fair and Livestock Show. The daughter of a hardscrabble Mississippi pig farmer, Eliza dreams of someday working as a waitress at “one of those nice downtown barbecue restaurants where all the tourists go.”

About the author

Mark Dunn, originally from Memphis, is the author of more than thirty full-length plays, over a dozen of which have been published in acting edition. Belles and Five Tellers Dancing in the Rain have together received over two hundred productions throughout the world. He is also the author of several books, including the award-winning novel, Ella Minnow Pea. Now living in Santa Fe with his wife, Mary, Dunn continues to divide time between writing for the page and the stage, and has a special interest in telling stories about his native Southland.
