great read, definitely a well composed story. best one out of the entire saga, the first strike, fall of reach, and the flood. but this is just my opinion, definitely a genuine story, the audio version is well done as well, casted to perfection.

No master chief in this book, but an awesome look into the origins of the human/covenant war, the rise of the current prophets and of course our favorite mustachioed staff sergeant, Avery Johnson.

Last Stand
It was alright, the plot was ok... But the author has a fascination with the dirty, gory, and grim that I don't care for.
