incredible book. I am a 36 year old woman who has only just realised she has ADHD and Autism and it was incredible to hear Fern describe her life. we may have had different experiences but so much of her reactions were familiar to me. I am currently doing months of deep dives into learning about the experience of other neurodivergent women because you know that's what we do 😂 and this was a really amazing book to listen to. I loved her delivery of her words and the honesty in her writing. it gives me hope so thank you Fern.

Eye opening to challanges that Autistic women encounter. I'm a mum to an amazing neurodiverse teen girl and ferns honest and gritty articulation of her experiences rang true with those lived in our home. Opening my eyes further with the challanges we are yet to encounter in adulthood. Thought provoking to the very end, from child, to teen, to woman and then the final injustice in an a care home not designed to support the elderly neurodiverse. Thank you for sharing your story.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's at age 33 and this is the first book that has given me any real idea as an adult about how much I thought was normal when it really wasn't. After listening to this book I really wanted to meet the author and give them a big hug to thank her for sharing her experiences. I highly recommend this book to any adult with autism that is lot about their diagnosis.
