Life's been pretty good for Cuno Massey since he went into the freight business with Wade Scanlon. Good, that is, until Scanlon stops in at a saloon and gets shot dead by a band of outlaws. Peter Brandvold Peter Brandvold was born and raised in North Dakota and educated at the University of North Dakota and the University of Arizona. He taught for five years on the Rocky Boy Indian Reservation in northern Montana and lives with his wife on their turn-of-the-century farmstead near Underwood, Minnesota.
