Dave Luckett writes in many genres and for many age groups, but his first loves are fantasy and science fiction. He has won numerous awards, including three Aurealis Awards, and several of his books have been published overseas.

Mikaela Martin studied acting and dance before embarking on a career in the performing arts. She has appeared in various stage productions including Much Ado About Nothing and The Twelfth Night for the Railway Street Theatre Company. She has also performed in films, television commercials and the radio play Gone for Sydney radio station 2SER FM.
