About this audiobook

Simon Says... Ride, book 3 in a brand new thriller series by USA Today bestseller author Dale Mayer.

Detective Kate Morgan is hot on a new confusing case. A cyclist is killed at the main intersection to the University of British Columbia. At first glance it looks like a hit-and-run, but, as details emerge, it gets much more complicated.

From one day to the next, Simon is blinded by an overload of senses and noises. It’s impacting his regular business day, and he seems unable to control when and how these moments occur. Angry and frustrated, he tells Kate but knows she’s unable to help. How can she, when he can’t help himself?

As Kate struggles to work her way through a gang of arrogant university students, reluctant parents, a defensive dean, and way too many unobservant witnesses, she finds a disturbing pattern of more “accidents” and more victims ...

Then finally Simon understands why his senses are on overload ... and flips the investigation around.

Honestly I don't know how Kate and the other Detectives do their job with all they come against, but I love seeing her becoming more a part of the team and opening herself up a bit more along with her and Simon coming together more. There were so many threads to pull in this one and deaths that didn't seem to be connected, but somehow they were so while slowly working out how things connect and all the resistance Kate and the others come against we get a clearer picture. I felt so sorry for Simon with the symptoms he was going through which also bought up the memories of his Grandmother and how he should have listened to her more instead of pushing against what she had to say. Seeing the work Kae and the others do and how the information that Simon provides weaves together to help solve the case. Wow.. talk about a twisted tale. I thought I had the murders all figured out, and then Boom.. The story headed off into an even more sinister direction. I love this series so much! A page turner that's going to keep you up reading long after you should be asleep.

I was drawn in from the very beginning . This is the third story in the Kate Morgan Thriller . Kate and Simon are drawn into a new case . Simon is having a difficult time figuring out the strange signs and smells he is getting and how it ties to Kate's cases . The further into the cases Kate gets the more intense and twisted it gets . This story is sensational . I highly recommend taking the time to read . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About the author

Dale Mayer is a USA Today bestselling author who writes for the young, the old and those in-between. Some of her books are hot, some are sweet. Some will keep you up at night with a light on to keep the boogie man away and some you’ll want to cuddle close. She’s long given up on trying to fit a specific genre. Instead she honors the stories that come to her – and some of them are crazy, break all the rules and cross multiple genres! And that’s okay too. There is one guarantee with each book – it will be a great read – each and every time.
