But once Jason and his companions were in the Aegean Bronze Age, unable to return to their own twenty-fourth-century time until a predetermined instant, they would find that there was more to those old legends of gods and heroes than anyone had imagined. For the gods were very real-horribly so. And dealing with them took very real heroes.

Vietnam veteran Steve White is the author of numerous science fiction and fantasy novels, including Wolf Among the Stars, St. Anthony's Fire, and Blood of the Heroes. With David Weber, White collaborated on the Starfire series novels, including the New York Times bestseller The Shiva Option.

Coming from a long line of theater folk, Andrew Eiden has been acting since the age of four, working at regional theaters from the Glendale Center Theatre to the Pasadena Playhouse. He has also appeared as a series regular on Discovery Channel's Outward Bound, Disney Channel's Movie Surfers, and ABC's Complete Savages.
