this is the second short story for beauty and the beast that I have read, again I don't really care for the short stories but since I like beauty and the beast I gave it a chance. it is just okay, a little different from the other one that I read. not details in the story, like really just straightforward and to the point if you get what I'm saying. I can't help but feel that if the rider was a little more thorough with the description and details it would have been better.

It needs to be made much more clear that this is only a 6 minute clip. I was looking forward to the whole story of a classic piece of literature but instead I recieved an awfully abridged and mangled snip-its of what I had been hoping for. It doesn't appear to be possible to buy the entire thing from what I can see. Though I have no interest in buying this, I was hoping that it was a perk of using Google Play Books. I hope this is just some kind of a mistake because this was a rather frustrating bait and switch.

Reading the reviews, I noticed a lot of people were complaining about how short it was. I guess most people don't realize that the original stories WERE short. They weren't full length books like Alice in Wonderland or Peter Pan (both of which were still rather short). In fact, most classic fairy tales were short enough to be put into a single book written by the famous Brothers Grimm. Think 20 to 30 stories in a book about as thick as a Harry Potter book. Anyway, I enjoyed listening to it.
