Errol Broome was born and grew up in Perth, Western Australia. She gained a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Western Australia and worked as a journalist on The West Australian. After marrying, she spent time in Papua New Guinea and Sydney, and now lives in Victoria with her husband. They have three sons. She has worked as a freelance journalist and won awards for her short stories, but now concentrates on books for children. Her spare time is spent in her garden.
Peter Houghton is an Australian writer, director and actor in theatre, film and television. Peter’s film credits include Mr Nice Guy and The Eye of the Storm. His many TV credits include The Newsreader, Gallipoli and Wentworth. Peter has performed on stage with Australia’s leading theatre companies and has received numerous Victorian Green Room Awards. He has narrated titles like Grantlee Kieza’s Flinders and Life & Crimes by Andrew Rule.
