I love this books cause our lifes do matter and I feel Starr's pain it is the second time she saw ger friend got killed in front of her and for no reason they were innocent. Starr-light Seven-perfection Sekhani-Joy Reasons to life are reasons to die

Through this book you get to see how the level of racism still mounts up and it hurts to know that after all these years of fighting racism 😢 nothing good has come out of the sweat, tears and blood of those who fought it because even to this day and age it still exists.
