There are frequent ads. Plus the audio ads are intrusive. But if you turn the sound off it's not a problem. Most ads are skippable so I didn't find it a huge deal. However, this game is dangerous, I spent over two hours playing it in one day. It has a timer at the top which is really helpful. I think it's fun, just wish there was a way to pause or quit out.

Fun game, ads are frustrating but can be paid to turn off. The reason for 2 stars is that, in my experience, you can't hold the #1 position for long. The game will generate competition for you and feed it. In ways that don't make sense within the rules of the game. Such as the next highest guy shooting from 64k to suddenly being 4m, higher than your 2m.

Loved this game last year. Now it's just ad after ad. It's too much when you get an ad when you die, multiple ads while in the game that stop play, plus audio ads running while playing. Also it doesn't feel like you're playing real people anymore. Because gameplay pauses for ads I'm assuming everything is just bots. It's nice that a paid version is available but they've really ruined the experience of what was a fun stripped down snake game. It's sad when everything becomes a money grab.
