The app is near perfect. The GPS is not as accurate as it's copart Google maps. It doesn't seem to find alternative routes as easily. It's fine. My only gripe is it's comparability with Android Auto. It often freezes, or the AA app says that the location is off when it infact is on. Frustrating. I have to grab my phone (which defeats the purpose) then close the app in my phone and reopen it so that the Android Auto will sync up. I've updated AA and it still persists.

After years of reliability, Waze is now one of the worst navigation apps I have installed. It now suggests longer and slower routes. Everything else still looks good ( 2 stars?). To try and fix it, I deleted the app, rebooted, and reinstalled after a week, with no difference. I now use it to show me congested areas, but even that is less reliable. I will test after this update and delete the app if there is no change for the better.

Hi Alan, we understand it's frustrating when routes feel longer than expected. Waze uses real-time traffic data to find the best routes. You can compare routes before and during your drive, and choose the best one for you. Here's how: https://tinyurl.com/3t4stmtm . Still need help? Let us know: https://tinyurl.com/mrx77ukz

Navigation volume control is not working. I have tested and concluded that the root cause is Waze. I have tested on an alpine x409 head unit and a Subaru stock head unit. Both have separate volume controls for tuner and navigation. I also tested using MS maps which allows controls to operate separately. This had been working in the past . UPDATE: Waze's response is after 6 years using Waze on an Alpine x409, it is no longer on the compatibility listl Really? Not the help I was expecting
