I played one of one of Binary punch other games "Tactical War" throughout enjoyed it. Why... While it's a free game, yes they hit you with Ads.... But NO WHERE LIKE THE OTHERS. You get an ad every 3 to 4 games. Next, graphics not bad, but game play very good! I paid under $2 AUD to get rid of ads as I respected what these guys are doing. The only problem..... Not enough levels.... Binary punch... Well done!! I hope more follow your lead. Just add some more levels ;)

The first melee upgrades seem to actually do something. The second one, while looking better, feels like a downgrade. The saws don't saw. They don't even cut. They also make the same smack sound that is heard with any other collision with a zombie, instead of a slicing sound. They don't even cut. I only buy them so I can max out my rover and move on. This is probably the worst thing about this game. Everything else is alright enough for 4 stars, in my opinion, minus the 1 for that issue.

A lot of rover games are very simple, you upgrade parts and that direcctly controls what you are able to do. Death Rover makes much better use of it's systems. Instead of every map being different terrain, each map has different physics and rover behavior, they feel different and you solve problems differently. None of the enemies do damage, instead they slow you down. Upgrading your gun lets you neutralize the first so many enemies to keep your speed up early. It's all very clever and engaging.
