I pay for access to Reuters content. But their app is horrible. I only read the headlines in my News Feed because if I click on article to read it, when I return to my news feed - either by using my phone's back button OR the back arrow within the app - it sends me back to the TOP of the feed. Ridiculous. Then I have to scroll past pages and pages of content that I've already seen to try and find where I left off. Why is this even a problem? No other app I use with a "news feed" does this.

This used to be the first news app I opened each day. The new subscription model that is designed to expand their reach obviously does not apply to readers. If it was ad supported I would continue to visit the site,but now I rarely look because all I can view are headlines. There are too many other sources of quality news to warrant spending my limited money here. I hope the new model is successful for you, but it lost me.

Hi John, if it helps, not everything in the app is behind the paywall. You can still access freely the Reuters 60/30/15 and the podcasts too in the Media section. Please let me know if you have any further comments at [email protected]

Had to block its notification privileges at the app level because the in-app notification settings seem to be purely decorative for me; I have notifications turned off across the board, no breaking news, no editors picks, no key topics, no recommended reads, yet I still get 4 or 5 notifications per day. Not ideal.

What’s new
