The app is great! I love how I can look at pictures without having to extract them. I don't know if it's possible, but I'd love it if I could scroll through pictures instead of opening each one individually. I also like the "send" option where I can move things to other zip/rar files. However, it looks like I can't send folders to other zip/rar files. Would be great if I could do that and also create folders myself within the zip/rar files, since I like having things be organized.

I'm a bit wary. After installing, it wants the full All Files Access permission, which really should not be necessary. It can request to just access media files/downloads, which is a separate permission, and then if the user does want to access system areas, they can manually enable that. But requiring access to the entire phone is a bit of a security risk, especially if this app were targeted by cyber criminals. I know this is by the real RARlab devs, so I'm surprised to see this requirement.

Frequently used RAR tasks include file management and backup. Google policy guidelines state that intended use for "All files access" includes file managers and backup apps. As a user, I routinely need to manage files and archives outside of media file and downloads and it would be burdensome for me to issue a confirmation for every new folder.

This is (in my opinion) the premier archival and/or compression tool for a "power user" on Android. It shares similarly efficient and functional granular control over creation/manipulation of archives as the desktop version, and it's well-worth the subscription cost (to me) to support the developers for their efforts. Bravo, and thank you for a fantastic product🤙🤜🤛💯

What’s new

Bugs fixed:

a) updating an encrypted file in a solid RAR archive produced a corrupt archive if updated file was the first in archive, no password was specified when starting updating and file name encryption in the updated archive wasn't enabled;

b) fixed a possible crash when processing a corrupt RAR archive.
