While the product is nice, there are improvements that would make using this application better, especially for seniors. First, make it clearer in which section you are between activity feed, photos, and adding new photos. After any action, make it easier to understand that something happened. Make browsing your device photos easier by adding more filters (for example by date), as well as more zoom options. And finally, prevent losing a selection of pictures easily after an accidental tap.

The frame is great, this app needs a lot of work. The "remote control" feature let's you reframe the currently displayed picture, but the picture it shows on the app is almost never the one currently displayed and there's no way to re-sync the app to match. There's a huge delay between adding photos on Google photos and them actually showing up on the frame. The same goes for deleting photos through Google photos - deleted photos continue to show up for a while.

Bought Aura frames for both sets of grandparents for Christmas. It's very easy to install the app and set up frames. You do need to be able to access wifi at the frame's location. Once set up it's easy to send photos and short vids to each frame. I placed the frame near the tv or their favorite seat so it's easy to view. You can set up on-off schedule. Good for mental and visual stimulation.
