For a while, I really enjoyed the app. It was my go-to while doing my #2. The ads are a bit annoying but acceptable for a free game with all of its online features. Recently, though, it started opening up web pages automatically. The kind where it tells you it's doing a virus scan. That was all it took for me to delete the game. I wouldn't recommend the free version, and the paid version is a subscription. Done with those.

The game itself and the challenges / different versions of play are great. The ads are unbearable. After every turn there's an ad. Some of which place the X's in a way that you literally can't close. Most recently have started having ads that cause popups on my phone - literally exiting the app and opening my Internet explorer. Have stopped playing as much and will probably end up uninstalling. I don't mind ads as part of an otherwise free game, that is until they start causing popups.

I like this game, but I find it extremely hard to win on the higher difficulty. Granted, I don't have the largest vocabulary, but it seems less having a smaller vocabulary and more the tiles you get. Versing harder difficulty, I seem to get multiple of the same letters a majority of the time. It's either almost nothing but vowels or almost nothing but consonants. Meanwhile, the computer will throw out big words with a variety of letters most turns.
