The game is too pricey (8.40 euros) for what it gives you. Out of all the heros only 4 are available for free, not to mention that a lot of towers are also pay-walled. I completed all the levels and currently there's not enough content for a game at this price range. I also thought that the levels weren't all that creative in their design compared to some previous games of this studio. Also, some towers used to have 3 unique abilities but now they're all down to 2. I don't like this change

I've always loved the Kingdom Rush series for being one of the best tower defense games in the genre. KR5 Alliance is incredibly fun with how many options you can mix and match for your defense. The comic blurbs that pop up before key story levels are charming, the art is squished down and charming as usual and the heros and villains all have silly fun dialogue. The game doesn't take itself too seriously but manages to also be a fun, tactical tower defense experience that can get challenging !

I played all your kingdom rush games before and it was really fun and satisfying even the challenges. This one is however really hard even on casual. I went on a rage a few times and didnt enjoy it. When I play in casual and got a "really close" win, I knew this game is too hard and is no longer enjoyable. This didnt happen in the previous games. I finally finished all the stages. Now I'm after the achievements. Still ruined my few days though, so I give it 3 stars. Thanks for the game, dev!
