I used this app on the PCT and the information was invaluable. However, I am now walking Te Araroa and I'm finding it far less useful. Waypoints are frequently missing and information is a few years out of date (for example, describing certain huts or campsites as first come first serve when they must be pre-booked). If they were to bring back crowdsourced waypoints, I'm sure this app would be much more useful for the less travelled trails. As it is, I will skip it on the next one.

-Farout is poorly built. -PC and Android version does not display GPS coordinates of the way points. -no way to open those points in a different app, aside from opening walking directions in Google maps (hows that going to work in the back country). -dropping a custom waypoint makes the app close. -The PC version does not let you filter way points. if you're hiking AT get the AWOL guide.

Attention developers, for some reason I'm getting a bug with my version of the app. On the Appalachian trail map on the elevation mode, I am not seeing the little blue dot marking my location like I used to. Everything else is working fine and it seems to calculate my location as well as distance to and from other waypoints fine but the little blue dot is gone and it's nice to have. Hopefully you can fix
