Sorry, I REALLY tried to enjoy this game. I even bought the full version to give it a solid chance. It's just frustrating and isn't enjoyable for me. The transfer system and contract management is bad. Youth players just up and leave before the end of the season and there's no affordable way to keep them. There's no way to play defense, so transition is entirely random. AI players are dumb, and mostly won't run onto through-balls. It was a fun gimmick, but after a couple of days I'm bored.

A big fan of retro looking or 8-bit games. This game is pretty good visual wise, but just okay in gameplay and controls; specifically some parts of it I find very annoying. The defense gets drastically hard, even a millisecond is enough for the opponent defenders to slide tackle the ball off of you. Also, it's very frustrating since if the ball somehow gets in your own half, you miss the chance entirely. And though earning gold bux is pretty straightforward, it isn't exactly sufficient entirely.

I want to be able to give this game a better rating as it's fun but challenging, and implements many of the same features that I love most about the other Retro sport games. The problem is it can be so frustratingly clunky at times it sours the experience of the good. The controls are difficult to use when players are bunched, automatic turnovers when the ball crosses midfield eliminates the purpose of defensive players and counter-play, and giving up 3 goals without touching the ball stinks.
