awful app. never remembers settings. sluggish. can never find anything. sometimes you open it and it just refuses to play anything and just spams your screen with toast notifications (in 2025) until you force stop it. actually you have to force stop it to get it to do anything because the first time you open it it'll be stuck on whatever screen you had it on last. just awful.

I know Beatport is all about music discovery and purchasing, but wake up Devs! 2025 is less than a week away, and this app still doesn't have casting support. There is no excuse in this era, and it literally takes 5 minutes to add. The lack of this single feature, and poor playlist management, prevents me from using the app for discovery and I'm seriously considering cancelling my subscription because of it.

I like Beatport but the app is pointless to me because there's no option to buy tracks. The app is only for streaming; if you want to buy and download tracks you have to use the website. The app also lacks an account page and redirects you to the website whenever you want to view this information. The other day I encountered a glitch on both the app and website where I couldn't change the email address associated with my account, but this seems to have been fixed.
