I kinda like it , it's nice not having an algorithm. However, I am unable to upload video, I keep getting a "app has no permission to access video library" even though I enabled all restrictions. I tried to contact support but haven't heard a reply from them for months. Also I find the text restrictions are too short, it would be much better if you could type much more characters, because of this I will give it 2 stars. I can change it to 5 if they fix these issues.

Finally, a breath of fresh air in social media! BlueSky is a refreshing alternative to the usual platforms. I love the emphasis on open source and the decentralized nature. It feels like a community built on trust and transparency, without the constant algorithm meddling. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and the focus on meaningful conversations is a welcome change. Highly recommend giving BlueSky a try!

App works great. I really like that there isn't so much of an algorithm happening, mainly just search for what you're interested in and feeds. The text post limit is short but you can post video and pictures now which is nice. Links to actual news outlets work well. Definitely one of the best places after the bird site died. Signal to noise ratio is very high here.
