Great service and coverage. Paying several months up front to save more is logistically sound. But they get you in fees, so always be prepared to pay $15 OVER the shown amount. You pay those extra fees so mint can save on business expenses. If you ask me, it's a slimy business practice. Regular customers shouldnt have to pay more, especially bc this is a cost effective option for low income people. The app works fine.

The app is ok; it works. Mint is a reliable phone service. I don't notice any quality differences between Mint and Verizon. I have unlimited talk/text, + 15G of data for 2025, for $20/month. The more months you purchase at a time, the cheaper the price will be. I paid for my whole year upfront (which is pretty close to what I paid for 2 months of Verizon in the past), so it is a good deal. I'd say the worst thing about Mint is all the annoying Ryan Reynolds commercials.

I'm using Mint to manage a relative's line that I am only keeping active for 2FA, so I wanted a low-usage plan. I placed an order online tonight for a nano-sim for use with a device that can't use eSim, but I still wound up receiving an email containing an eSim. I was required to activate the eSim on an eSim compatible device (my own) in order to even access chat via the app, and it took 2 hours to get a nano-sim ordered. The app itself seems to work smoothly so far. I'll update as time goes on.
