On release, it's hard to complain about. The amount of content is certainly more than enough for me, and the improvements to the base gameplay are pretty good. However, the big issue I have with both is HOLY HECK, the amount of bonuses. The amount of random quests, tasks, battle passes, streaks, Chests, purchasables, it's actually baffling. Why are there so many, and why are none of them related to the base gameplay, or each other? Why not just have 1 or 2 simple goals? It's like baby sensory.

The game is pretty similar to the first one. The art style is different. It seems like that's pretty much the only difference for the most part. The items seem very lazily designed too. For example, all the boots do the exact same stats up until gold level or whatever. In other words, your characters build is extremely limited until most of your items are a certain rarity. Doesn't make sense at all. Other than that, I've always liked Archero, especially because there are no forced ads.

Fun game, some changes from the original. I hate the Arena change, not being able to control your character makes it completely gear and luck based, so the guys willing to spend money to advance will always win out. I've watched ads to get rewards, then get stuck in a loop where you can't exit the ad after it's finished, can't go back to the game, and you have to restart, and don't get your ad rewards. The game looks great, and movement and controls are responsive. Old music was better.
