Maybe in other cities it's better, but if you're in Cairns... don't use Beam. I paid $17 searching for a poorly indicated parking spot (the alternative would have been $18 for parking outside the designated parking). On top of all the restricted zones...better take an Uber, for less than a third of the cost (in my case, we were with two). App deleted.

After paying money to unlock it it didn't unlock the scooter and kept telling me my card wasn't working. I later checked my banking app to find that I was indeed charged for seemingly nothing. I wouldn't recommend this. Often times there are other scooters nearby (lime,bird etc) which would be a better choice most of the time.

Are you all still operational? Recently been trying to ride the bikes. But it's not moving after scanning the bike. I scanned a bike that was parked illegally and I got fine because I couldn't get the bike to start. Been emailing and contacting your support services, but instead no response from you all? Are u guys still in business? 😑
