Bottom line, this is a strategy game. My problem is that the strategy part is not advertised. I downloaded this for the shooting portion. At the beginning, u get to play a good chunk of it, but it quickly becomes a wait and see game if you don't want to spend money. On another note, thought I might used this to get into strategy game but I hardly could find anything about the basics of it. Anyway, this is my first strategy game, so my review is definitely that of a novice.

Last War is a blatant cash grab. Progression is unbearably slow unless you spend money, and even then, the rewards are disappointing. I bought two packs hoping it would make a difference, but it still wasn’t enough to feel like I was actually progressing. On top of that, the game bombards you with ads, making the experience even more frustrating. The concept had potential, but the execution is all about squeezing money from players. Definitely not worth your time or money.

It's an okay game, but it's definitely pay to win. So if you want to be at the top, you HAVE to spend money. Don't bother unless you have hundreds to spend or don't care about losing. Edit to your response. Yes, you can progress. But you will never be in the top without spending. You will never get the same rewards, you will never have a fair shot during wars, you will not get to upgrade certain characters. When you can't upgrade the best characters the people that pay to upgrade, will alws win
